WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE TOUR PRICE?The tour price covers accommodation, domestic flights, private transportation, entry fees, and guided excursions. Meals and international airfare are not included unless specified.

IS NICARAGUA SAFE FOR TRAVELERS?Yes! Nicaragua is generally safe, and our tours are designed with security in mind. Your guide, Gabor, has extensive experience in private security and tourism, ensuring a safe and hassle-free trip.

DO I NEED A VISA TO VISIT NICARAGUA?Most travelers from Europe, the U.S., and Canada do not need a visa for stays up to 90 days. All travelers should have an onward or return ticket and evidence of funds to support yourself while in Nicaragua. You must carry a valid identity document at all times, such as a U.S. driver’s license or a passport. Upon arrival you must purchase a tourist card for $10 USD at the airport (exact change recommended in USD currency), valid for up to a total of 90 days. Therefore, if you come from a country other than the United States, make sure to change the currency in your country before your flight and arrive prepared!

WHAT SHOULD I PACK FOR THIS TRIP?Lightweight clothing, comfortable walking shoes, swimwear, sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat, and a reusable water bottle. If traveling in the rainy season, bring a light rain jacket.

WILL I HAVE ACCESS TO WI-FI AND PHONE SERVICE?Most hotels and restaurants offer Wi-Fi, but it may be slower than in the U.S. or Europe. We suggest buying an e-sim card(if you have a compatible phone) online if you need reliable mobile data(you can buy one here for $13 with 10GBs of data for 30 days).

WILL I BE ABLE TO CHARGE MY ELECTRONIC DEVICES?Nicaragua uses 120V, just like the rest of America. If you are coming from Europe, you should bring a power adapter, because the EU plugs don't work.

WHAT IS THE LOCAL CURRENCY, CAN I USE U.S. DOLLARS?The local currency is the Nicaraguan Córdoba (NIO), but U.S. dollars are widely accepted in most places. Credit and debit card payments are accepted in major cities and at larger businesses, especially in tourist areas, hotels, restaurants, and shops. However, in more remote areas or smaller establishments, cash (in U.S. dollars or córdobas) is preferred, so it's always a good idea to carry some cash for these situations.We recommend carrying small bills for convenience.

HOW PHYSICALLY DEMANDING IS THE TOUR?Our tours include walking, boat rides, and optional hikes, we always adapt to the group’s pace, but it is definitely helps to be in a good physical condition.

ARE THERE ANY HEALTH PRECAUTIONS I SHOULD TAKE?We recommend being up to date on routine vaccines. Bring mosquito repellent, as some areas have mosquitoes, especially near water.
