Day 1 (Saturday) - Arrival and Welcome
Arrive at Managua Airport, where you will be warmly greeted and transported to the luxurious Elements Hotel Boutique in Nicaragua’s capital city. Depending on your arrival time, we offer an optional sightseeing tour of Managua, followed by a fine dining experience upon request. In the evening, enjoy a group dinner where you’ll meet your guide, Gabor, and fellow travelers.

Day 2 (Sunday) - Masaya Volcano and Granada
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before heading to Granada, where we’ll check in at the boutique Hotel Dario Granada, in a colonial-era building overlooking a tree-lined street in the city center. En route, we’ll visit Masaya National Park and the iconic Masaya Volcano, famous for its active lava lake. In the afternoon, we’ll explore the colonial city of Granada, the oldest European-founded city in the Americas and one of the best preserved cities in the New World. The colorful city of Granada has a fascinating history and rich culture. Browse outdoor markets, stroll through cobblestone streets, the Plaza Central and admire the city’s Spanish colonial architecture. We’ll conclude the day with dinner in Granada at El Zaguan before returning to the hotel.

Day 3 (Monday) - Pueblos Blancos, Art, and Las Isletas
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before starting a day of cultural exploration and natural beauty. The morning begins with a visit to Catarina, one of Nicaragua’s famed Pueblos Blancos, celebrated for their vibrant artisanal traditions, stunning Spanish architecture, and unique cultural customs. Next, we’ll stop at San Juan de Oriente, a town renowned for its world-class ceramic workshops and artists. The final stop for the morning is Masaya, considered the cultural heart of Nicaragua. In the afternoon, we’ll head to Las Isletas de Granada, a collection of over 350 small islands scattered across the waters of Lake Nicaragua. Amidst breathtaking scenery, you’ll enjoy a relaxing wildlife sightseeing tour by boat.

Day 4 (Tuesday) - Laguna de Apoyo

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before heading to Catarina, where we’ll check in at the exquisite Pacaya Lodge & Spa. This five-star retreat offers stunning panoramic views and luxurious swimming pools for your relaxation. After check-in at the lodge, the day is yours to explore and indulge in activities of your choice: swim, snorkel, or kayak in Laguna de Apoyo, the cleanest lake in Central America. Explore hidden trails and enjoy the serene lakeshores nearby. After a day of adventure or relaxation, savor dinner at the lodge and unwind amidst its luxurious amenities.
Day 5 (Wednesday) - Pacific Beaches, Sea Turtles, and Ometepe Island
Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel before heading to San Juan del Sur, a charming coastal town on a bay surrounded by miles of unspoiled beaches. Our destination is the pristine Playa Hermosa, a private beach along the Pacific Ocean, offering breathtaking natural beauty and tranquility. Take advantage of this visit to explore La Flor Reserve, where thousands of sea turtles come to lay their eggs—a truly awe-inspiring natural event. On our return journey, we’ll stop at a mirador to admire the sunset over Ometepe Island, the largest island in a freshwater lake. Located in Lago Cocibolca (Lake Nicaragua), Ometepe’s name means “two hills” in the native Náhuatl language. The island features two majestic volcanoes connected by a narrow isthmus. After soaking in the stunning views, we’ll return to Pacaya Lodge & Spa for a restful evening.

Day 6 (Thursday) - Mombacho Volcano Adventure
After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll visit the iconic Mombacho Volcano and its cloud forest, known for its rich biodiversity and breathtaking landscapes. Located just 10 kilometers from Granada, this inactive volcano is one of Nicaragua’s most prominent natural landmarks. The adventure begins with a thrilling ride up the volcano’s steep slopes, offering spectacular views and an unforgettable experience. The tour continues with a Canopy Zip Line Adventure, featuring: 17 platforms, 3 hanging bridges, 11 steel cables, reaching heights of 25–30 meters or 80-100 ft. This exhilarating activity provides an up-close encounter with nature while enjoying stunning views of the forest canopy. After the tour, we’ll return to Pacaya Lodge & Spa to relax and unwind.

Day 7 (Friday) - Matagalpa and Selva Negra Ecolodge
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before traveling to Matagalpa, a region renowned for its lush coffee plantations and scenic landscapes. Check in at Selva Negra Ecolodge, an eco-friendly retreat offering a variety of activities, including: coffee and cocoa tours, farm tours, birdwatching, hiking and night walks, horseback riding. Spend the day exploring the lodge’s offerings and learning about the region’s rich agricultural heritage. End the day with a delightful dinner at the ecolodge and enjoy a restful evening surrounded by nature.

Day 8 (Saturday) - León and Santa Maria de Regla Cathedral
After breakfast, head to the historic city of León, a cultural and architectural treasure of Nicaragua. A highlight of the day is the Santa Maria de Regla Cathedral, the largest cathedral in Central America and a recently designated UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore its rooftop for breathtaking panoramic views of León and the surrounding Maribios Volcanic Chain. Conclude your day with dinner and accommodation at Fiesta Inn León, where you can unwind and reflect on the rich history and beauty of the city.

Day 9 (Sunday) - Rum Distillery and Volcano Surfing
Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel before delving into the secrets of Nicaragua’s famed Flor de Caña rum at its distillery. This guided tour provides fascinating insights into the production process of one of the world’s most renowned rums. In the afternoon, embark on an exhilarating adventure at Cerro Negro, one of the youngest volcanoes in the world. Born in 1850, this active volcano last erupted in 1999. Hike up its striking lunar landscape, marvel at its charismatic crater, and take in breathtaking views of the Nicaraguan countryside from the summit. For the adventurous, experience the thrill of volcano surfing! Using specially designed “surfboards,” you can ride down the volcano standing up or sitting down, guided by experts. Conclude the day with dinner at the hotel Fiesta Inn León.

Day 10 (Monday) - Fly to Corn Islands
After breakfast at the hotel, travel to Managua for a domestic flight to the stunning Corn Islands, a tropical paradise on Nicaragua’s Southeast Coast. Discover the islands’ natural treasures: long stretches of sandy beaches, green palm trees swaying in the breeze, crystal-clear turquoise waters. Explore the islands at your leisure, enjoying their unspoiled beauty and tranquility. The Corn Islands offer a superb opportunity to experience Nicaragua’s Caribbean side in a pristine and largely untouched environment—a perfect destination for those seeking a remote, natural vacation spot. End the day with dinner and accommodation at Paraiso Beach Hotel.

Day 11 (Tuesday) - Ferry to Little Corn Island
After breakfast, we’ll take a ferry to Little Corn Island, where you’ll check in at Little Corn Island Beach and Bungalows. Immerse yourself in this breathtaking paradise, with its transparent turquoise waters and natural beauty. Spend the day enjoying the serene surroundings at your leisure.

Day 12 (Wednesday) - Free Day on Little Corn Island
Enjoy a full day on Little Corn Island at your own pace. Swim, snorkel, dive, or take a leisurely stroll along its pristine shores. Bask in the island’s tranquil atmosphere and take advantage of all it has to offer.

Day 13 (Thursday) - Return to Big Corn Island and Managua
Savor your last morning on Little Corn Island before taking the ferry back to Big Corn Island. From there, board a flight back to Managua, departing at 3:20 PM (15:20). Upon arrival in Managua, embark on a sightseeing tour of the capital city, visiting: - the Presidential House and National Assembly, - Rubén Darío National Theater and Music Palace, - the Culture National Palace, - The New Metropolitan Cathedral and Downtown Managua, - Asososca Lagoon, the city’s drinking water source, - The Central Market, perfect for local crafts and souvenirs. Conclude the day with dinner and accommodation at Wayak Hotel.

Day 14 (Friday) - Departure
After breakfast, we’ll arrange transportation to the airport for your departure flight. We are sure you’ll leave with unforgettable memories of your Nicaraguan adventure. Safe travels, and adios amigos!
